This contest is open to amateur and professional photographers of all ages. Please post your photos on Instagram before July 27th, tag @midstorytoledo, and hashtags #midstorytoledo and #acityintransit, with a caption explaining the story behind the photo.
Event Details
The theme of the photos/stories we are looking for is “IN TRANSIT”. To be “IN TRANSIT”, meaning in the middle of something. For Toledo, that could mean a city in the middle of rebuilding its identity.
The winners will have their photos exhibited in contemporary print at the gala x expo event (https://www.midstory.org/gala) as well as having their photos and stories featured in a Midstory series. We will have 100+ local companies & organizations participating in the event, and the mayor of Toledo is slated to give the keynote. Awards provided through our sponsors will be given to the winners ranging from gift cards to photography gear.
